New and Amended Bus Routes |
The transportation network in Nanyang has been improved.
SBS has introduced a new Service 241, as well as amended the route of Service 242, to offer residents better connectivity to the new Pioneer MRT station as well as a faster link to the Boon Lay Bus Interchange.
Service 242 Service 242 previously operated from Boon Lay Interchange and provided connection to Jalan Boon Lay, Jurong West Street 72, Street 91 and Street 92 and Jurong West Avenues 4 and 5.
The bus route has now been amended to loop at Jurong West Street 71 on its return trip, instead of at Street 91. This amended route provides residents with a shorter journey and saves travelling time. Service 242 will continue to have a scheduled frequency of 5 minutes during peak hours and 8 minutes during off-peak hours. Its fares and hours of operation will remain unchanged.
Service 99, in the meanwhile, continues to serve the area without any change.
New Service 241 With the cutback in the route of Service 242, a new Service 241 has been added to serve residents in Neighbourhood 9, along Street 91 and 92. The new service also offers a faster route to the Boon Lay Interchange.
Service 241 is a new Feeder Service starting from Boon Lay Interchange and providing connection to Pioneer Road North, Jurong West Streets 63, 91 and 92. Residents taking this Service will enjoy a direct and convenient connection to the Pioneer MRT Station. On its return trip, it loops at Jurong West Street 91 to provide residents who are headed for the Interchange with a shorter travelling time.
